Cloud, on-site and hybrid models allow the solution to follow business needs. Not every system needs to move at once.

### Virtualisation and storage

A proposal may cover virtual infrastructure, storage and backups. Capacity, licences and administration are specified for each project.

Bring an application inventory and requirements to the assessment. Availability, capacity, connectivity, costs and support are defined in writing for the infrastructure contracted.

## Frequently asked questions

Could migration require downtime?

Yes. It depends on the system and transition method. Working windows and continuity measures must be agreed in advance; zero downtime is not a universal promise.

Must I replace my servers?

Not necessarily. The assessment considers what stays on site, what moves and what can operate in a hybrid model.

Are backups included?

The proposal must specify protected data, frequency, retention and recovery. They should not be assumed.
